Yes, it's amazing to me, when there is so many wonderful things happening, that there is just not enough time to share it all on here! There are so many GREAT stories and pictures and lessons from camp to share, but just not enough time or space to get it all in! So, you can go to our church web site to see pictures of all the kids and leaders having a great time! Or even on Brian's blog! See them sliding down HUGE inflatable slides, doing archery, the climbing wall, playing in SNOW, reading from their BIBLES, doing silly challenges, EATING, smiling, swimming, canoeing, playing on a HUGE INFLATABLE TEETER-TATER, laughing, singing, and BEING BAPTIZED into Christ! And, that's just what you can see! To feel the excitement, joy and love of the week is just indescribable!!!! You have to come and experience it and be a part of this great week to really understand. It's a fantastically exhausting but such a rewarding week, and it's the GREATEST! It's hard to believe that it's over...
But now...it's on to VBS! I had a really great friend ask me yesterday if they had done something wrong since I had not talked or seen them in awhile...for sure...NOT THE CASE!!! It is MOST ASSUREDLY not the case! I for one, if I have a problem, will come directly to that person, so...do not fret! So, what is going on???
VBS and the 4th of July parade (which we enter with a VBS float) and the festival, which is H20 give-away, face painting & this year, children's crafts! VBS is taking just about every waking moment...which, right now it is 3:30am and I have been trying to figure out some stuff and can't sleep!!! Getting leaders in place, their assignments for the week, paperwork, decorations, and all that goes with it. Along with these HUGE things, William is now in tournaments with baseball (his regular team) and...
HE MADE THE ALL STAR TEAM! AND...BILL IS COACHING IT TOO! This is the first year of "Little League" in Loveland, and if you heard about the team from Hamilton last year, they could be playing for the whole summer if they keep winning! This team will be playing in Warren County this weekend and next week will be in Oxford! I am thankful right now that I will be able to go to these...and try to prepare for VBS. I don't know when their next games will be, but do know that they could go to West Virgina, Michigan and then to Pennsylvania for the Little League World Series. So, I pray they have some great games and enjoy the tourney and that I get to share in as much as possible with my family!
Oh, and I forgot to say, the NACC is here this weekend and what was I thinking... volunteering there...I really could use some extra time...BUT...yep, the holy but...I have found some extra time! If you don't sleep, there is plenty of more usable hours in the day!
PRAYER TIME! Please pray for our outreaches...4th of July & VBS. Pray for those children and families we will reach and all our helpers. Pray for good weather and that we will be able to show Jesus' love to all we meet. Please pray for all at the NACC this week. Pray for our church and leaders to always keep God first and represent Him through our thoughts, actions and words.
Hey...thanks for "listening"!!! It's time for some coffee! Type to you later!
